Current SWIMBA structure

SWIMBA consists of a board of directors and five committees as follows:

Current SWIMBA Committees and Chairs

You need JavaScript enabled to view it .   The committee's main objective is to increase awareness of SWIMBA. Strategies include improving marketing-communication activities, improving and maintaining the SWIMBA website, capitalizing on events such as Tour de Fat and Boise RecFest, developing and improving partnerships with bike shops and bike clubs, and increasing SWIMBA's involvement and presence at outdoor events.  The committee develops membership benefits and strategies to engage current members. The committee also focuses on providing educational mountain biking clinics and educating the public about proper trail stewardship.

  • Trails: Chair -- Mike Edwards This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . This committee will coordinate volunteers for construction of trails, apply for grants necessary to complete trail construction and participate in other activities directly related to trails construction and maintenance.

  • Fundraising: Chair -- Leslie Tengelsen This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . The objective of the fundraising committee is to generate money to support SWIMBA's mission statement through grants and outreach events, such at Tour de Fat. (This committee may be divided into sub-committees that work together to achieve this goal.)
