Description:
The Mountain Duathlon is the place for mountain bike, trail run and off-road duathlon events.  Compete solo or as a relay team.  Trail run 5K and mountain bike 15K divisions also available.

Courses:
An amazing singletrack course on the famed City Creek Trail System in Pocatello, Idaho. The mountain bike course includes a 9.1 mile (15K) run loop with a total vertical gain of 1463'. The trail run course is a 3.1 mile (5K) run loop with 479' vertical gain. The course covers a wide range of terrain including deep woods, bridge crossings, follow along a creek, buffed singletrack, rocky technical sections, sagebrush grassland, short steeps, steady climbs, yahoo descents, and great views. The duathlon is a bike, then run format (similar to triathlon). Easy transition set up at the start/finish line area. Hydration packs or other fluid systems should be carried by the participant. We recommend the Peak Pack hydration system (www.peakpacks.com)
