DESCRIPTION:This event is for Volunteers\, Beers\, and Cheers!  \nJoin us to install signposts at trail intersections in the Wilson Creek trail system. \nPlease meet at the lower parking lot. Dress appropriately for trail work including long pants\, gloves\, and closed toe shoes. Don’t forget water and snacks! \nThis event will involve a variety of tasks\, such as digging holes with shovels or post hole diggers\, moving medium-sized rocks\, installing posts with expanding foam\, and placing stickers on the posts. There will also be some carrying of tools and signposts to installation locations. \nWe welcome everyone to join us and want to ensure all participants feel comfortable and supported. If you prefer to take on lighter tasks\, such as placing stickers or carrying smaller tools\, please feel free to let us know! You can email us in advance (events@swimba.org) or notify a leader on the day of the event. SUMMARY:Boise Brave Trail Work at Headwaters Trail
DESCRIPTION:Join SWIMBA and the Boise Brave for Headwaters Trail Maintenance on Sunday\, October 27th from 2 to 4 PM. We will be cutting back encroaching vegetation and doing some minor trail repairs on the Headwaters Trail. SWIMBA will provide tools\, but if you have extra clippers\, loppers or a hand saw\, feel free to bring them along (no power tools please). \nPlease wear long pants\, closed toe shoes\, and gloves. \nWe will be meeting at the top of the trail on the Boise Ridge Road (Forest Road 275) just off of Bogus Basin Road. Parking is limited along the Ridge Road\, so please carpool to ensure we can all find a safe place to park. The meeting spot is less than 1/4 of a mile into the Ridge Road\, a dirt road in good shape\, so most cars will have no issue. \nRSVP below to sign a waiver. \n  \n\nPlease note: The carpooling meetup is not an official part of the event. We recommend coordinating rides directly with other attendees. SWIMBA is not responsible for the safety of participants while carpooling.

SWIMBA is seeking volunteers to help cut back encroaching vegetation and do some minor trail repairs on the Mahalo Trail. SWIMBA will provide tools\, but if you have extra loppers or a hand saw\, feel free to bring them along (no power tools please). \nPlease wear long pants\, closed toe shoes\, and gloves. \nSWIMBA will provide water and snacks. \nTo make transportation easier\, we encourage participants to meet at 2600 N Bogus Basin Rd before the event at 9AM. This is a great opportunity to connect with others and share rides. \nRSVP below to secure your slot! \n  \n\nPlease note: The carpooling meetup is not an official part of the event. We recommend coordinating rides directly with other attendees. SWIMBA is not responsible for the safety of participants while carpooling.
