Stack Rock Connector Trail Brush Clearing Pt. II

We had an outstanding crew help with clearing the upper half- it looks great, and Cuddy Trails is up there building from the parking lot down.

Last week, USFS had a crew out cutting brush on the lower half, and it’s ready to be cleared as well. It’s steep, difficult terrain, so I’m asking for experienced, motivated individuals to give us a hand!

We’re going to break this up over a couple of sessions- the first will be this Thursday at 6:30. We’ll meet at about 5:45 at Highland’s Elementary and I’d like to carpool as much as possible. If you want to meet up there, we’ll be starting at Brewer’s Bend, the wide shoulder/parking area on the right, a little before mile marker 13.

Please have long pants, long sleeves, gloves, sturdy work boots, and eye protection. We’ll bring some water and snacks, as well as a few pairs of gloves and safety glasses if someone forgets!
