Meet the SWIMBA Team

Sam Blaine, President

Sam is a native Idahoan who loves outdoor recreation and sharing the natural beauty of his home state. Along with his wife Tiffany and three children, Sam remains a resident of his hometown of Eagle and is never shy to strike up a conversation with a stranger at the Eagle Bike Park.  As a lifelong athletic enthusiast, Sam continues to enjoy mountain biking, hiking, golf, and snowboarding.  Sam has a deep appreciation for music and the arts (including the culinary arts) and believes in self exploration and service consistent with the ancient Greek Proverb that states “Blessed are those who plant trees under whose shade they will never sit.”

Brooke Behmke, Vice President

Originally from Wisconsin, Brooke moved to Idaho chasing her love of the outdoors and the mountains. Her time in Boise has helped her fall in love with both mountain biking and the incredible access to trails and breathtaking scenery right in our own backyard. When she isn’t on her bike, you will find her enjoying nature in one of its many outlets; snowboarding, backpacking, camping, hiking, or fishing. Brooke is passionate about giving back to the community and believes in spreading her love for the outdoors with others to help preserve and protect the beautiful state we call home.

Damian Kolbay, Treasurer

Damian moved to Boise from the East Coast to live where he likes to play, in the mountains. He enjoys finding new scenic locations to ride his bikes, both mountain and gravel, along with helping to build and maintain the trails in our area. If Damian is not on a bike, he is probably hiking, camping, kayaking, snowboarding or something involving the outdoors. Damian also advocates for the mountain bike community on the Avimor Trails Board with a goal to continually improve the trail network and keep access open for all.

Susan Kolbay

Susan moved from Virginia to Idaho so that she could spend her time exploring the mountains. Her favorite ways of exploring are mountain biking, trail running, gravel biking, hiking, kayaking, skiing, and snowshoeing. On any given day you can find Susan on a trail doing one of her favorite activities. Susan is passionate about serving her local community and enjoys trail building and maintenance.

Karianne Fallow

Karianne is a native Idahoan and lives in Eagle with her husband, kids (ages 14 and 11) and their very spoiled yellow lab. She enjoys anything outdoors, including skiing, mountain biking, fishing, camping, hiking, running and travel. Karianne is the CEO of Dairy West and loves the work she’s privileged to do for dairy farmers in Idaho and Utah. In addition to serving on the SWIMBA board, she serves on the Idaho Foodbank board and volunteers as a Level 2 NICA Coach with the Eagle High School Mountain Bike Team.

Chris Aslett

As an Idaho native I developed a deep appreciation for the state’s beauty at an early age. Working cattle on a ranch near Mackay, I was surrounded by some of the most stunning landscapes I’ve ever experienced. After earning my degree from the University of Idaho and moving to Boise, an injury led me to physical therapy—and ultimately to cycling. What started as rehab quickly became an obsession. Mountain biking has since become more than just a sport; it’s a source of therapy, adventure, and connection. Now, as I share my passion with my young family, advocacy, education, and trail stewardship play a vital role in ensuring future generations can enjoy the same incredible experiences!

Aidan Weltner

A Boise native, Aidan has been a mountain biker since the age of 9. Aidan has spent as much of his life in the outdoors as possible and considers himself an outdoor recreation advocate. He attended Montana State University in Bozeman and lived in Arkansas and Connecticut before returning home to Boise in 2024 to enjoy Idaho’s rolling hills, high-deserts, mountains, rivers, and Boise’s work-life balance. He enjoys hiking, snowboarding, fishing, hunting, and cycling; but above all else he is a die-hard mountain biker. Although his primary goal with riding is to have as much fun as possible, Aidan is committed to advocating for publicly accessible recreation, trail preservation, and educating all mountain bikers to become the best advocates for our beloved sport.

Kevin Donovan

Kevin brings a blend of technical problem‑solving, community leadership, and trail‑focused passion to the SWIMBA board. A lifelong cyclist with roots in mountain biking, road racing, and XTERRA, he believes great trails don’t happen by accident — they’re built through stewardship, smart planning, and strong community partnerships. Known for pairing practical systems thinking with big‑picture vision, Kevin is committed to strengthening SWIMBA’s impact through innovative fundraising, strategic collaboration, and hands‑on trail work. His focus is simple: help Southwest Idaho’s riding community thrive for years to come.
